Akhilesh announces Compensation for Farmers in UP

Lucknow, April 07: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav announced a compensation for the farmers, who died due to crop loss in the state, their kins will get Rs 7 lakh from the government.

Akhilesh also announced compensation for the farmers, who faced huge crop loss due to hail storm and unseasonal rain in the state.

Yesterday, the ruling SP government had announced additional relief package of Rs 300 crore for the farmers whose crops were damaged due to unseasonal rains across the state.

Last month, the UP government had released Rs 200 crore from the state emergency fund for the farmers giving an additional relief to them that their pending dues will not be recovered.
