CBI Raids Residence of Seashore Official in Niali

Cuttack, April 08: Fresh raid was conducted at the residence of a senior official of Seashore Group of Companies in connection with the mega chit fund scam in Odisha.

The CBI sleuths raided the residence of Pradip Samantary at Bali Sahi village of Niali Block in Cuttack on Wednesday for his alleged involvement in the ponzi scam. Samantary is the Divisional Head of the Seashore Group.

During the raid, the CBI team collected few documents related to land and money receipts. The bank account has also been seized.

Later, his houses in Bhubaneswar are likely to be raided to get more information regarding his involvement in the scam.
