Former Australian Skipper Richie Benaud dies


Sydney, April 10: Former Australia captain Richie Benaud is no more. He died at the age of 84 in his sleep late on Thursday night. He is known as the voice of cricket in the commentary box.

His fans condoled the death of the great cricketer. The messages from across the world poured in after news was aired on news channels. Benaud was suffering from skin cancer.

He played 63 Tests in his career and was the first player to score 2000 Test runs and take 200 Test wickets.
