Chit Fund Scam: Royal International Group Offices Raided in Odisha, Bengal

Bhubaneswar, April 10: The CBI conducted raids on the offices of Royal International Group in Odisha and neighbouring West Bengal in connection with the mega chit fund scam.

The searches were carried out at eight places in Odisha and WB. A team of CBI searched the house of Sudhir Behera, former director of the Royal International Group, at Daulatabad in Choudwar in Cuttack. Few documents were seized during the raid.

The chit fund firm Royal International Group, headquartered in Kolkata, is accused of duping thousands of investors in Odisha and WB.
