Agni III Missile successfully Test-Fired

Balasore, April 16: The nuclear-capable Agni III missile was successfully test-fired on Thursday with a strike range of over 3000 km from the wheeler island of Odisha. The surface-to-air missile was launched at 9.55 am from the mobile launcher at launch complex-4 of Integrated Test Range (ITR).

The missile is capable of carrying a warhead of 1.5 tonnes. The test was carried out by the strategic forces command of the Indian army with. This was developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
