Digvijaya Singh calls Masarat as Saheb

New Delhi, April 17: In a bizarre manner, AICC general secretary Digvijaya Singh called the separatist leaders Masarat Alam and Syed Geelani as "Saheb", the respectful address in Hindi. Alam, who is the traitor of India, occupies a place in Singh's heart as a respected figure.

Masarat Alam is now arrested by the J&K police under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. His unfurling of Pakistan flag in Kashmir and anti-India slogans gave a sleepless night to the J&K government led by Mufti who had released him from the jail.

Geelani and his associated have been placed under house arrest for raising anti-national slogans and waving Pakistan flag at a rally in Kashmir.

However, he is the respectful person for Digvijaya. He questioned the government for the decision to arrest Alam. He asked, "The J&K government should tell under which act Alam and Hurryat leader Geelani sahab were arrested. Did they arrest them under the Act of insurgency, sedition because house arrest means that they are the guests of the state".

This is not the first time Digvijaya came under attack by the critics. Earlier, he had drawn flak for addressing Osama as Osamaji and the most wanted terrorist Hafiz Sayeed as Sayeedji.
