MoU signed for SPV to develop Facility for Coal Transportation

Bhubaneswar, April 20: A MoU was signed for the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the development of rail infrastructure to facilitate the transportation of coal in the mining area.

Odisha Transport and Commerce Minister Ramesh Majhi signed the deal at Raj Bhawan on Monday in presence of Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu and Coal Minister Piyush Goyal.

The state will have 10% stake in the SPV, the Coal ministry will have 64% and Railways will have 26%.
