Shabana Azmi to play Pakistani Woman Role for BBC TV Series

Mumbai, April 22: Veteran actress and social activist Shabana Azmi has joined the stellar cast of BBC One mini-series "Capital", which is an adaptation of John Lanchester's critically acclaimed and bestselling novel of the same name. The legendary actress will portray the role of a Pakistani woman in the TV series.

"Capital" is a drama about a London street that undergoes a transformation thanks to soaring property prices. Shabana Azmi is currently in London shooting for the show.
