IPL: Bowling of Sunil Narine questioned Again

New Delhi, April 25: It seems West Indian Sunil Narine cannot catch a break. After missing few of last year's Champions League matches and then this year's ICC World Cup due to suspect bowling action, Sunil worked very hard to get his action under check. But even after being cleared by the International Cricket Council (ICC), Narine yet again had to give another action test to the Indian cricketing board BCCI, so as to be allowed to participate in the on-going Indian Premier League (IPL)

But it now seems even all that effort has gone in vain as BCCI on Friday yet again questioned the unorthodox-spinner's action.

BCCI released a statement that said...

"A suspected illegal bowling action report has been filed by the match officials on certain deliveries bowled by Sunil Narine during the IPL 2015 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders played on the April 22 in Visakhapatnam.  As per the provisions of the IPL Suspected Illegal Bowling Action Policy, Narine will be eligible to bowl in forthcoming Pepsi IPL matches and may request a biomechanical analysis of the deliveries in question at the ICC and BCCI accredited testing facility, the Sri Ramachandra Arthroscopy and Sports Science Centre (SRASSC) in Chennai".

Though, BCCI has not stopped Narine from bowling in KKR’s next match against the Rajasthan Royals (RR), the spinner already seems to be struggling with his new bowling action. In the last five matches that he has played for KKR he has only been able to pick 2 wickets even after bowling full 4 overs in every match.
