Dignitaries receive Dinanath Mangeskar Award

Mumbai, April 25: Several dignitaries from various parts of life were presented the famous Dinanath Mangeshkar Award in Mumbai. Eminent personalities like Bhalchandra Nemade, Tabla player Suresh Talwalker, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor and many others were present to receive the awards.

"I have received many National and International awards in my film career but this award is very special for me. I am not able to take this award because I believe that still I am a new comer. PanditDinanathMangeshkarAward by contrast holds the unique meaning of dignity and value which cannot be calculated", said Anil Kapoor.

Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor was also present there. Anil thanked Lata Mangeshkar, but unfortunately she could not be present at the event due to her ill health.

"I would like to thank Lataji and thank you ladies and gentlemen for all the patience. Thank you very much", he added.
