Viswanathan Anand defeats Fabiano in Shamkir Chess

New Delhi, April 27: Indian chess ace and former World Champion Viswanathan Anand had an easy final round on Sunday, where he effortlessly defeated Italian Fabiano Caruana to finish second in the Shamkir Chess tournament.

What is more with his win on Sunday, Anand not only finished second in the tournament, but also entered the 2800 points club again and was only surpassed by World Champion Magnus Carlsen who had thumping victory over Rauf Mamedov to take his rating to 2875 points
