New Delhi, April 27: According to reports, International Cricket Council (ICC) on 22nd April 2015 wrote to Indian cricketing board BCCI stating that secretary Anurag Thakur was socializing with a suspected bookie recently.
The letter, which was addressed to BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya, alleged Thakur of meeting Karan Gilhotra few days back, and then further informed BCCI that Gilhotras name features on the latest database of ICCs Anti-Corruption and Security Unit.
According to further information BCCI is yet to responded to the said mail even though it has already been four days since they received it.
What makes the situation even more interesting is that BCCIs newly elected members held their first Working Committee meeting last Sunday and this might just be a diversionary tactics by the Srinivasans supporters to deflect BCCIs attention from the CSK devaluation issue, which was the prime focus of the Sundays meeting.
