Nepal Quake: Death Toll crosses 4000


Kathmandu, April 28: The death toll in Nepal earthquake crossed 4000 with more dead bodies recovered from the debris. More than 8000 people were injured in the devastating quake.

The Nepal government has declared the earthquake a national calamity. Indian government has extended the help to the neighbouring country by launching operation Maitri to rescue and evacuate people trapped in the debris.

The survivors are spending their days and night with fear, panic and under trauma losing their everything in the disaster. A series of tremors and aftershocks ravaged the nation. The rain hindered the rescue operations.

Yesterday, people also felt the aftershocks. They felt tremors 55 times so far.
