Jagatsinghpur, April 29: Daru of Lord Jagannath was identified at Karipadia under Raghunathpur block in Jagatsinghpur district. The Jagannath temple administration Chief Suresh Chandra Mohapatra announced about the location of the lord this morning.

People of Jagatsinghpur are feeling blessed as the darus of three lords - Jagannath, Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra - were found in the district.

While the daru of lord Balabhadra was found at the premises of famous temple Maa Sarala in Jhankada in Kanakpur, the daru of Devi Subhadra was located at the Nilakantheswar temple in Adhangagada under Biridi block in the district. Now the daru of lord Jagannath was also identified in this district.

The temple chief administrator said that the area where Lord Jagannath daru is located has been barricaded in the wee hours after the Banajaga team officially informed the temple administration in late night yesterday about the location of Lord Jagannath daru.

The daru is situated on the bank of a river, and the place is narrow. A concrete road has to be made for the transpiration and parking of the vehicles as thousands of devotees will rush to the spot.

Mohapatra said that the devotees will not be allowed to see the daru now for 3-4 hours as the works for the infrastructure have begun.
