Salary hiked for Doctors in Remote Areas

Bhubaneswar, April 29: The Odisha government has hiked the salary of the doctors working in the remote areas of the state by 100 per cent. The decision was taken at the cabinet meeting chaired by chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday.

As per the decision, the doctors working in the remote areas will get 100 percent hike in their salary and the doctors posted in the remote and tribal areas will get additional Rs 40,000 besides their salary.
