Nepal Earthquake: Death Toll reaches 5006

Kathmandu, April 29: The death toll in the quake-hit Nepal rose to 5006. Around 80 lakh people are affected in the disaster while the relief materials are on stock for only 14 lakh survivors.

Panic and agony were clearly revealed on the faces of the victims. They are living without roof on the ground without food after losing their families, relatives and friends.

Thousands of residents are trying to leave Kathmandu in anger. The rescue operation halted due to rain post earthquakes and aftershocks. The rescue teams try to reach the worst affected areas and provide relief to them, but the attempts do not satisfy the people who are in trauma and expressing anger as they do not get food and water.
