Punjab CM under Fire after death of Teen

New Delhi, April 30: The Punjab government has to explain over the death of a teen, who along with her mother, were thrown out of a moving bus by a group of people who wanted to molest her.

The union home ministry has sought a report from the Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal in this regard.

The 14-year-old girl died on the road. She was jumped off the bus with her mother to escape from men who attempted to molest her in the bus.

The incident took place on Wednesday night on the Moga-Bhatinda highway when the victim along with her mother (35) was travelling in an AC bus. Some youths started eve teasing and passed comments seeing the girl. When her mother interrupted and complained about it to the conductor and driver, they increased the speed of the bus.

Fearing any unwanted situation and getting raped, the woman and her daughter jumped off the bus. They were rushed to the hospital where the teen age girl was declared brought dead. The mother is battling for life.

Unfortunately, the bus is owned by the family of Punjab CM, who is under attack from all the political parties.
