Ranpur NAC Polls: Another Victory for BJD

Ranpur, May 06: Another fur was added to the crown of chief minister Naveen Patnaik with the victory in the Ranpur Notified Area Council (NAC) polls in Nayagarh district.

The BJD won 13 out of a total of 15 wards in the elections held yesterday.

However, BJP could not open its account in the polls. Remaining two seats were won by Congress and Independent each.

Huge voter's turnout was registered yesterday. A total of 55 candidates were contesting the polls.
