50 Thai police officers transferred for links with Human Trafficking

Bangkok, May 07: Over 50 police officers were transferred for their alleged links with human trafficking networks. A probe has been ordered into the discovery of dead bodies from the graves near the border.

According to reports, 32 bodies were found in the southern province of Songkhla. They were believed to be the migrants from Myanmar and Bangladesh. Many bodies were found near the suspected human trafficking camp in the forest area.

The prime minister has ordered to submit a report on the numbers of of human trafficking camps in the country within 10 days.
