Patna, May 07: RJD MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav on Thursday was expelled from the party for six months for his alleged anti-party activities.

Earlier, Yadav was issued a show cause notice for acting against party policies and giving statement against party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Above all, Pappu Yadav was in target of RJD and JDU as he supported former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi during his struggle to retain his CM post. He was allegedly motivating other MLAs to support Manjhi during trust vote in the House.
