Diplomats killed in Chopper Crash, Bodies reach Islamabad

Islamabad, May 09: Entire Pakistan mourned the tragic death of four diplomats belonging to Philippines, Norway, and the wives of the ambassadors from Malaysia, and Indonesia. They were killed in chopper crash yesterday. The bodies reached the national capital Islamabad today.

The diplomats were killed when Pak army helicopter carrying them crashed on its way for a function yesterday.

While the Pakistan government said that the crash was due to technical failure, the Taliban claimed that they targeted the helicopter with a missile.

A day of national mourning has been declared for Saturday by the government.
