DQ Allotment Probe Report to be submitted in 3 months

Bhubaneswar, May 11: A detailed probe report on the allotment of plots and houses under discretionary quota (DQ) before 1995 will be submitted to the Odisha government in three months, said Housing and Urban Development minister Pushpendra Singhdeo on Monday.

Talking to media, Singhdeo said that show cause notice will be sent to the 6001 beneficiaries as per the recommendations of the special task force on DQ. The allotment will be cancelled if the violation has been made. The state vigilance will probe the matter.

An order in this regard has been sent to the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Cuttack Development Authority (CDA) and Odisha State Housing Board (OSHB) to take action as per the Task Force report recommendation, he said.
