Palestine gets State Status, Israel disappointed

Jerusalem, May 14: The Vatican has recognized Palestine as a new State, triggering outrage and allegations from Israel that said that the decision of Pope will create disturbance.

The decision was taken by Pope Francis with an aim to push Palestine to get international support for sovereignty.

Celebrating the move, Palestine said that Vatican is not a state, but represents millions of Christians from across the world.

However, Israelis took it as a blow to them. The nation said that it was disappointed by the decision and the recognition to Palestine as a state will hurt peace process.
