Gunmen storm Kabul Hotel, 11 killed including Two Indians

Kabul, May 14: Gunmen stormed a Kabul hotel killing 11 people including Two Indians and one US national in Afghanistan

Two gunmen were shot dead by the security forces foiling their plan to carry out a suicide attack during the overnight standoff and rescued several foreigners trapped inside the Palace Park Hotel. The standoff lasted for five hours.

The hotel was packed with the foreign nationals who were present to enjoy a concert on Wednesday evening when the incident occurred.

However, no group has claimed the responsibility for the attack yet.
