BCCI to provide Help to Afghan Board

New Delhi, May 15: BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur said they would help Afghanistan Cricket Board to match the level of other countries at the international level.

On being asked whether any kind of financial assistance will be given to the Afghan team from BCCI, Thakur said that the Board would be more than happy to help them.

"See Afghanistan cricket Board has requested BCCI that they want to come and play in India, use the infrastructure and also to have one venue as the Afghanistan venue in India. That talk is not about to create one centre in Afghanistan. But they want to have one centre in India which can be names as it is the Afghanistan home ground", Thakur said.
