DLF to cooperate with Probe into Robert Vadra Land Deal

New Delhi, May 15: Moving against Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, the Haryana government announced a commission of inquiry to probe alleged irregularities in land deals in Gurgaon. DLF said in a statement today that they would fully cooperate with the commission.

The Justice S N Dhingra commission has been asked to look into land deals in Sector 83, Gurgaon, during Congress rule in the state.

It is alleged that beneficiaries of the Sector 83 licences and land deals include Vadra’s M/s Skylight Hospitality.

DLF said in a statement that "it is well known that this was a very small transaction of approximately Rs 50 crore. When called upon, we will fully cooperate with the Commission".

DLF also said that it was not aware of the terms under which the commission will operate. "All facts pertaining to the case involving DLF are already in public domain".
