Chit fund firm CMD arrested from BBSR Station

Bhubaneswar, May 18: Deb Kumar Panda, the CMD of chit fund firm Vista Management Services was arrested by the Economic Offences Wing (EoW) of Odisha Crime Branch while fleeing the country yesterday.

Panda was arrested from Bhubaneswar railway station while he was leaving for Vizag on Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Express. After reaching there he was about to leave the country for Singapore.

His passport, Visa, air ticket was seized following the arrest.

Panda is accused of duping depositors of at least Rs 50 crore.
