Meting over International Flight Operation from BBSR positive

Bhubaneswar, May 20: The meeting over the operation of international flights from the Biju Patnaik International airport ended with a positive note yesterday. Two international flights are likely to be operated from Odisha capital in Bhubaneswar.

Thai Airways and Fly Dubai may start operation from Bhubaneswar, according to information, as they have expressed interest. The operation is likely to commence from this winter.

The meeting was attended by Odisha chief secretary GC Pati and major airline operators including Thai Airways, Spice Jet, Fly Dubai, Jet Air ways, Air Arabia and IndiGo. The officials from International Air Transport Organization and Airports Authority of India were also present at the meeting yesterday.
