Veteran TV actress Sudha Shivpuri passes away at 77

Mumbai, May 20: Veteran TV actress Sudha Shivpuri, popularly known as Baa of Ekta Kapoor's longest running TV soap "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi", passed away this morning. A year back the actress was admitted to the hospital after a stroke.

The senior actress was 77-year-old and had been keeping unwell for quite some time. The actress bid goodbye to everyone this morning.

The veteran actress began her journey as an actress at a very young age to support her ailing mother. Sudha married popular actor Hari Shivpuri in his struggling days and together they started a theatre company. Sudha Shivpuri debuted in Bollywood with Basu Chatterjee's "Swami" in 1977.
