Address Public grievances, CM directs Authorities

Bhubaneswar, May 21: Odisha chief minister asked the district collectors and Sps to address the public grievances, while reviewing a meeting on joint grievance hearings yesterday at the state secretariat through video conference.

He said that addressing the public grievance should be the top priorities for the officials.

Patnaik directed the SPs to take action against the tender mafia and expedite the trail cases related to women atrocities and rape.

He also asked to provide necessary facilities to the complainants and take exemplary action against the corrupt officials.

However, he did not express satisfaction over the participation of some of the SPs, who skip the joint grievance hearings regularly. He warned to take action against them for the negligence in future.
