Congress lashes out BJD, BJP over Completion of One Year

News

Bhubaneswar, May 21: While the ruling BJD in Odisha and BJP at Centre are flaunting for their achievements launching various schemes and programmes for the public in the past one year, the Congress lashed out the parties for failing to deliver on the promises made during election campaign.

The Congress continued to attack both on the completion of one year in State and Centre even though, their number is short in Odisha as the opposition and they even could not get minimum numbers required to sit in opposition in Lok Sabha.

Addressing the press conference yesterday, senior party leader Jitendra Singh said that the NDA government led by Narendra Modi has failed on all fronts. He termed the government as Suit Boot ki Sarkar, as criticised by Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi. The BJP government favours only capitalists and corporates.

ON the other hand, OPCC president Prasad Harichandan cornered the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government over chit fund scam. He said that the ruling BJD is silent and will not raise voice against the Centre as its people are involved in chit fund scam.
