Army holds Talent Search Event at Ganderbal

Ganderbal, May 23: As a part of on-going efforts of Army to empower youth, a large-scale talent search named ZAHANAT-2015 (GANDERBAL GOT TALENT),was organised by Army Camp of Ganderbal under the aegis of Chinar Corps on Friday at Madre-e-Meheraban Stadium at Ganderbal in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Lt. SubrataSahaof GOC, Chinar Corps, Maj Gen Arvind Dutta of GOC, Victor Force, local MLA Sheikh Ishfaq and DC of Ganderbal Showkat Ajiaz Mir with other officers of the state administration graced the occasion with their presence.

"There have been competitions of sports, especially cricket, football and volleyball in many places at Ganderbal. A talent search was conducted here. This was an opportunity we are looking for to promote the talent. Then all those who get identified will be given further opportunities", Gen. Subrata Saha, GOC, CHINAR CORPS.

"I assure you that full security will be provided. We will leave no stones unturned", he added.
