Naxals set 32 Vehicles Ablaze in Gaya

Gaya, May 25: Maoists set ablaze 32 vehicles in Gaya district of Bihar following a two-day bandh call in the region. The vehicles were set on fire post-midnight as the bandh came into effect.

The ultras also blew up a mobile tower in Panapur of Chapra district. The bandh call has been given by the CPI (Maoist) to protest against the killing of a woman cadre in an encounter about a week ago.

The incident took place on GT road in Gaya where Maoists set trucks and other passenger vehicles on fire. The passengers were first asked to get down and then the vehicles were set ablaze.

The Maoists also fired a few bullets on trucks to scare the drivers.
