Ritu Rani to lead Indian Women Team in Hockey World League Semis

New Delhi, May 26: Ritu Rani will once again lead the 18 member Indian women’s team in the upcoming Hockey World League Semi-final to be played in Antwerp, Belgium.

The tournament stats from 20th June and will be on till 4th July.

Hockey India announced the squad for the crucial tournament and named Rani as the captain and Deepika as the vice-captain.

India will start their campaign on 20th June against host Belgium. India has been placed in Pool B along with Australia, New Zealand, Poland, and Belgium.

India will aim to finish the tournament on a high to qualify for the final round and also secure an entry in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
