Govt assures No More Power Cut in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, May 28: In a big reilef to people of Odisha during the scorching heat, there will be no more power cut in the state.

Energy secretary Suresh Mohapatra said that all the repair works have been completed in most of the regions and there will be no more power cuts in the state.

Some technical problems in Nabarangpur under SOUTHCO, Atabira under WESCO need to be sorted out. However, the repair and maintainace works have been finished, he said.

In the past few days, people faced problems in Bhubaneswar due to the collapse of the two extra high tension towers in Balugaon. The government is planning for 11 kv and 33 kv cables so that there will be no voltage problems.
