Facebook Page of Odisha Vigilance launched

Bhubaneswar, May 28: In a bid to curb corruption with the help of technology, the Odisha government has launched a Facebook page of the state vigilance to take action against the corrupt government officials on the basis of the complaints from people on the social media page.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the Facebook page and a helpline number of the department yesterday. 

People can visit the FB page - - and lodge complaints directly. The process is to invite younger generation to be more involved in fighting against corruption.

There is a system that identity of the complainants and informers will be concealed. In case, people who do not access to internet, they can dial the toll-free number 1064 to lodge the complaints against the corrupt officials.
