Odisha Govt prepares Action Plan on Climate Change

Bhubaneswar, May 29: In wake of the calamities and disasters due to global warming, Odisha government released a report on the action plan on climate change that will be implemented in the state in next five years.

The action plan report was released by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at a programme organised by the state forest and environment department at the state secretariat yesterday.

Patnaik said that the action plan will help to protect the lives despite climate change.

The action plan will be implemented for the departments like agriculture, water resources, urban development, and forest and disaster management.
