Chidambaram attacks Modi Govt, questions on Revival Plan for Farmers

News

New Delhi, May 30: In a scathing attack to NDA government, Senior Congress leader and former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram today asked where the relief and revival plan is for the distressed farmers of the nation.

Chidambaram took to Twitter and wrote:

"As expected GDP growth up modestly from 6.9 in 2013-14 to 7.3 in 2014-15. No surprises, and no reason for euphoria!"

He further wrote:

"Agriculture growth of 0.2 percent is a warning of deepening rural and farmers distress. Where is the relief and revival plan?"
