Tomar's lawyer withdraws bail plea in fake degree case

New Delhi, June 16: The lawyer of former Delhi law minister Jintender Singh Tomar, who is accused of possessing two fake degree certificates, withdrew the bail application today after Tomar was sent to police custody for another four days.

The Saket sessions court accepted the withdrawal of bail application.

Tomar was arrested last week for possessing two fake degree certificates - a law and BSC degree.

Following the interrogation, he admitted to the fact that he had collected the certificates through agents.

However, the AAP targeted the Centre over the issue alleging that the Centre did not want to allow them to work in Delhi.
