Daitapati Nijog apologized for transgression during Brahma Paribartan

Bhubaneswar, June 24: Daitapati Nijog on Tuesday apologized for mismanagement of Brahma Paribartan resulted in delay in rituals on June 15.

"We also pledge that such mistake will not recur, and we promise to carry out rest of the rituals on time, Daitapati Nijog Secretary Premananda Dasmohapatra told to media personnel while visiting Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) office.

He also said that they had no intention to hurt the sentiments of devotees of Lord Jagannath.

Dasmohapatra was among the five priests who deposed before the inquiry being conducted under the provisions of Sri Jagannath Temple Act, 1955.
