7-year-old girl rescued from borewell after 32 hours

Jaipur: A 7-year-old who was trapped in a 50 feet deep bore well for close to 32 hours has finally been rescued in Rajasthan.

The girl is reported to be safe and has been taken to the hospital for treatment.

The incident took place at around 9 AM on Saturday, when Sunita, while playing in his family agriculture field, went to have a look into an open borewell in their neighbours farm and fell into it, police said.

A number of JCB machines were also put in action to remove sands and mud as a precaution to save the girl child.
