Fake OJEE website: youth arrested from mumbai

Bhubaneswar, June 29: The cyber cell of Odisha Crime Branch arrested a youth from Mumbai for running a fake Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) website two days ago, said Crime Branch ADG BK Sharma today.

The accused Sana-ul-Haq, who is a native of Ranchi and was a former student of a private engineering college in Bhubaneswar, Sharma said.

He was arrested from Mumbai, where he was working in a private company, on Saturday,  he said adding he has now been sent to the Choudwar jail after his bail was rejected by the court.

The Crime Branch had begun a probe into the incident after the OJEE authorities lodged a complaint with the Airfield Police Station in this regard on January 16, 2014.
