HC grants conditional bail to TDP MLA Revanth Reddy

New Delhi, June 30: Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday has granted a conditional bail to Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA Revanth Reddy and two other accused in connection with cash-to-vote case.

The court said, the accused should deposit 5 lakh rupees each and surety of two persons.  The court also asked the accused to surrender passport and not to leave his constituency Kodangal.

Previously, Revanth Reddy and two others were arrested after they were caught red handed offering 50 lakh rupees to a nominated MLA Stephenson for securing his support to TDP candidate during the recently held MLC elections.

The ACB special court has rejected the bail plea to the accused.
