Uproar continues in Rajya Sabha, adjourned till noon over twin train accident

New Delhi,August 5:Uproar continued in Rajya Sabha as Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu informed the House on the train accident in Madhya Pradesh today.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said the government has rushed emergency medical and other relief personnel to the spot. "Darkness and water are creating hurdles in rescue operations but we have ordered all possible help. We are trying our best," he said.

He also said that Railway administration and the Madhya Pradesh government are working together to rescue passengers of Kamayani Express accident. Amidst din, Railway Minister presents statement on the twin train tragedy.

Opposition members continue protest outside Parliament over suspension of 25 Congress MPs. "We respect the Speaker but she has sent us out here. So we are here," Rahul Gandhi said.

Rajya Sabha Chairperson agrees to start discussion on motions moved by the Opposition but the Opposition MPs continue to protest walking to the well of the House. House adjourned till 12 noon.
