Bollywood wishes their 'favourite' Sridevi on her birthday

Mumbai, August 13: Wishes from across film industry poured in as Bollywood diva Sridevi turned 52 today.

Many celebrities including Shabana Azmi, Riteish Deshmukh,Esha Gupta and Satish Kaushik wished the "Chaalbaaz" star on Twitter.

"@SrideviBKapoor Happy Birthday Sri have a glorious year," Shabana Azmi tweeted.

Satish Kaushik who has worked with the actress in "Mr India wrote,"Wishing Happy Birthday to madam @SrideviBKapoor... Happiness always"

"Happy Birthday @SrideviBKapoor ma'am! Regards" filmmaker Shirish Kunder wrote.

"Happy bday to my favourite, amazing @sridevibkapoor #bollywood #icon #love #bday #sridevi #fangirl ..." Sophie Choudry tweeted.

The "Chandni" star loves donning ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra's creation and the designer took to Twitter to wish his favourite muse.

"Wishing my Dearest and my most Favourite @SrideviBKapoor a very very Happy Birthday," he wrote.

Sridevi, started her career as a child artist in MA Thirumugham's devotional Thunaivan at the age of four, and continued to act as a child artiste in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films.

She made her Bollywood debut as a child artiste in the hit 1975 film 'Julie' and played her first major role at age 13 with the Tamil film 'Moondru Mudichu'.

The actress is all set to make her Tamil film comeback with Vijay starrer fantasy drama 'Puli'.

Married to filmmaker Boney Kapoor, the actress is mother of two daughters Jhanvi and Khushi.
