Odisha Assembly Monsoon Session begins today,9 bill likely to be passed

Bhubaneswar,August18:Odisha Assembly monsoon session began from today.Some important bills are likely to be tabled,discussed and passed in the fifteenth consecutive day of Odisha Assembly Session.

Apart from that, some current controversies are likely to be discussed.

The Assembly session would continues till August 29.

It has 11 working days in the Monsoon session of Odisha assembly.

The opposition to raise nabakalebara issues in Monsoon session.According to sources, nine bill likely to be placed, discussed,passed in Odisha Assembly in Monsoon session. The nine Bills are Odisha Land Grabbing (Prevention) (Ordinance Promulgation) Bill, Odisha Police Bill, Odisha Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill, Odisha Apartment Ownership (Amendment) Bill, Odisha Underground Pipeline, Cable and Nullah Bill, Odisha Education (Amendment) Bill, Odisha Land Encroachment Prevention (Amendment) Bill, Odisha Municipal Corporation and Odisha Municipal Act (Amendment) Bill.

The ruling BJD would try to pass the Odisha Police Bill-2015 in the Monsoon Session of the State Assembly beginning on today as the Bill could not be discussed in the Budget Session though tabled.
