First Dengue Death In Odisha

Cuttack,septmber 16: Hemanta Jena, a resident of Nilagiri in Balasore district,died of dengue in Cuttack Government Hospital on Tuesday. This is the first dengue death in Odisha. But the Health DepartmentOfficers are still silent about the matter.

Hemanta was infected by the dengue virus in Delhi,Where he works. When he came to know about the disease he was rushed to Capital Hospital. As his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to Cuttack Government Hospital.As per Cuttack Government Hospital information, Hemanta take his last breath at 11:45am.

Hemanta got married just 7 months before. it's alleged that his wife also a dengue patient and she is also admitted to the hospital.
