Second Death Due to Dengue in Delhi

New Delhi, September 16: Yet another resident of Odisha, Santanu Kumar Behera(30) died in Hinduja Hospital, New Delhi due to dengue yesterday.

The deaceased has been reported to be the resident of Soro in Balasore district. According to the reports, Santanu,after being tested positive for dengue was admitted to Bharat hospital. Due to medical negligence there as his condition detoriated he was shifted to the Hinduja hospital where he breathed his last.

Meanwhile, this is the second death of the resident of Odisha reported in Delhi due to dengue besides medical negligence. Prior to Santanu, a 7-year old boy from Kendrapada died due dengue who was denied addmission in to reputated hospitals in Delhi after being tested positive for dengue.
