Abducted Odia Engineer Freed In Libiya!

Bhubaneswar; Sept18: The Odia engineer Prabhas Ranjan Samal who had reportedly been abducted in Srite in war-torn Libya by ISIS militants has been freed yesterday, Family members claimed.

Though Ministry Of External Affairs (MEA) is yet to confirm his release.

Talking to the media Prabhas's sister-in-law Manasi Nayak said"He (Prabhas) called me up on yesterday afternoon and said he has been conditionally released by the ISIS militant group, no physically harm made by the group and he is safe in Libya".

During the 2-3 minutes of intimate telephonic conversation Prabhas said " He has appealed both Odisha and India government for his safe return to India".

Prabhas Ranjan Samal belongs to Hantapada under Marshaghai block in Kendrapara district.

Srite is under control of Islamic state terror group,which is steadily expanding its control in central Libya.
