Google celebrated M.F. Husain`s 100th b`day with doodle

Bhubaneswar;Sept 18: Google is paying its tribute to the legendary painter Maqbool Fida Husain on his 100th birth anniversary by dedicated yesterday’s
doodle to the artist.

The doodle showed the modern Indian painter of international acclaim holding a brush in his hands with a colourful background, along with geometrical circles that are used to represent “Google.”

Popularly called the ‘Picasso of India,’ the artist, who was also known as a print maker, photographer and filmmaker,He was born on 17 September 1915in the small temple town of Pandhrpur in Maharashtra's Solapur district and  passed away on June 9, 2011 in London.
